friend passed away and was given 3 trays of 33mm kodak slides he took live at various games during the 1974-75 W.H.A. season, the slides include . Pat stapleton , Larry Hillman , Gordie Howe and sons , Gilles Gratton , Frank Mahovlich , Bobby Hull , Gerry Cheevers , Ralph Backstrom , Paul Henderson , Barry Long , etc. I have somewhere between 250-300 slides. I Don't plan to sell the collection as they are one of a kind and personal though

That is pretty cool. Are they primarily game action or warm-up?

I wonder if any photo archives, such as HHOF or Photofile would have any interest in them? If so, would they require the actual slides or a digital transfer?

As a side note, my entire existence from birth (1964) until the early 80's is recorded on slides. . On of the few times i have been back to my parents house, i went through some of the trays. I know the is a picture from Xmas 73 or 74 with me opening a box of Topps Hockey. Our (my siblings and me) intent is to get them transferred to CD, but it may be awhile.

they are all game action slides which include some fights and the ref's breaking them up. ive had some of the slides developed into 5x7's and ill load some of them in as soon as i can

Those are definitely cool looking. I love watching some of the old games where the players wore no helmets and you could make out each player without having to read their jersey. These bring back some fond memories of the early 70's.

thanks. glad you like em.. the place i get the slides developed is getting expensive.. it cost me $6 to get 15 slides done into 5x7's
