Any way around ebay extra costs?

How do you sell gold coins with the slim profits on ebay? How do the major sellers like Apmex sell gold at lower more competitive prices as I don't see any way around the minimum of 5.5% ebay cost for powersellers or the 3% paypal plus shipping. Also I got this from ebay support: "I have looked in to this for you a little more our shipping Final value fees are 10% of the overall shipping cost." So the way around that is to ship via a corporate account and then plug tracking into ebay, right?

I've always assumed that they would work with their highest volume sellers (think millions/billions? in annual sales). Those sellers have the leverage to negotiate. Someone that sells $20k a year does not.

I always think they may sit on old inventory acquired when gold was much lower melt's, otherwise I don;t understand either how they would make profit selling a slabbed Saint for $1425 regardless the grade.

Twenties are FLOODING in from Europe.
However, with wholesale 63s costing them 1340 (ask), it sure isn't enough to make it worth it.

Now if they are plugged into the Europe connnection, well....maybe.

It's also possible they are hedging on Comex as 20s are now just bullion.
