CC Renewal Online Submission Question

I just did an online submission (first time I have done it that way) for my 6-card Collectors Club Renewal Voucher.

During the submission process, I was asked if my submission was a CC renewal, and I said it was, specifying a 6-card voucher. However, when the service level came up in the next page, it was defaulted to "regular" service which carries a 30-day turnaround time. The voucher was applied during the payment portion of the submission.

But the CC renewal is supposed to be a 7-day turnaround. Why does it default to 30-day regular service turnaround time with no way to change it? If I indicate 7-day on the package will I receive the correct turnaround time?

I believe I read here a few weeks ago that the CC renewal was changed from 7 days to 10 days sometime last year. If it changed to 30 days, that would be new news. I renewed this year under silver level, so had no free vouchers to use. The last renewal I did with vouchers was December 2016 and those were 7 days. Curious to hear what others say...

The thing is, under service level, it defaulted to "regular." There was no way to change it to CC renewal. I called customer service and was told this was part of the adjusted turnaround times, but it seems odd to me that it would not at least reflect the correct service level, whatever the estimated turnaround time.

Try starting an online submission and see what happens. It occurs before you need to input any card info.

The CC renewal is still considered a "regular" submission and falls under the new turnaround time of 30 days.

They still have it advertised as 7 days on the CC Club page,i would think that if they changed it from 7 to 30 this "Restrictions Apply" blurb would have updated as well.

I honestly don't know the answer to that. I'd say your best bet is where this is just a 6 card CC renewal submission is probably to just print out a blank submission form,write in your using the 6 free vouchers then you won't have to worry about dealing with the online sub defaulting to a regular service or calling customer service. That seems like the quickest fix to your problem.

I already completed the online process. I just included a written note next to "Service Level" on the printout indicating that it's the Free CC renewal so there would be no misunderstanding, and I still wrote 7-day on the package as customer service said I should.
