I bought this a couple years ago and at the time did not know it was wrong, now I do. I am not sure if it is a mechanical error or a mis-attributed. FSH for only $40 delivered (less than half of what I paid)

price lowered to $45
No it does not look like a Type "C"
Hoard the keys.
lowered to $40
This QTR is not a type C FS-901 reverse and you should not sell it the way it is. This coin needs to go back to PCGS to be corrected.

How much will that cost me? and what service do I use?
Depends on how you acquired this coin - if you had it graded or bought it this way from someone else. Guarantee Resubmission costs $25 and if they agree they will correct it and not charge you the $25.00 Call PCGS and discuss with a customer rep. They're there to help

okay NFS
I bought this coin on eBay probably 2-3 years ago and was using it to help me find another raw.
I sent it in with a couple other orders and got charged $58.05 for this today. I called customer service and they are going to hold shipping and check with the grading department...
If they are going to call this an obvious mechanical error, and I should have known I will be upset. Nothing like throwing away good money after bad.
not sure why they charged you. I would provide where you bought it off E-bay, they should make you whole. No way for you to go back to the other person after you learned this was not attributed correctly. It cannot be a mechanical error when several people touched this coin. Possible the original submitter did not know, this is where why we ask for a professional opinion verification from TPGC. Grader, attributer, finalizer...... Just my thoughts.

Even if a mech error why would they charge the customer? That's a shmitty way to get buried in a problem coin to boot. Probably should have never been graded to begin with, or purchased.
Not all varieties have good pictures or documentation available. There are other pick up points on a coin that may not be mentioned or shown at all. For some reason it took me quite awhile to determine type 2 1972 ikes, now I easily recognize them.
Of course the original submitter did not know, but thought it was - why else would they pay the extra for attribution? The $58.05 charge to my card was completed, I will call tomorrow...
edit 4/19 Good news today. Customer service rep said they will refund my fee and give me coupon/credit for 2 express gradings. I am happy with that although I have never had a coin I feel worth more than $3K, I might someday.
