    Item was relisted: https://www.ebay.com/itm/352309643727?ViewItem=&item=352309643727
Seller has had many listings removed in the past by eBay for the same reasons. When listing a certified coin and specifying the numerical grade an image of the slab and cert number must be included. I have reported these.

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available", along with several others.

Market an Amazon item on eBay for a small markup. When someone buys that item from you on eBay, you purchase it on Amazon as a gift and have it delivered to the eBay buyer via FREE 2-day shipping and FREE, no-questions-asked returns. One doesn't ever even have to have to touch the product!

Finally saw my first example of this today. Bought an item via eBay and it was sent from Amazon fulfillment.

This MAY not be totally correct. As a person who worked as a manager at Amazon, there is an extensive program of businesses and business people who utilize Amazon as both their warehouse and their sales venue. The person you bought from may be shipping out of their own inventory.

For example, a person may sell janitorial supplies. A mop bucket can be purchased for $4.13 wholesale with a minimum buy of 50. So the "seller" purchases 50 however those 50 never leave the Amazon warehouse where the wholesaler has them stored, and are actually a giant block of 10000 mop buckets being sold 50 or more at a time wholesale to a large group of resellers, and are staged in groups of 500 in various Amazon fulfillment centers. No shipping costs to the ebay seller to get their 50 buckets. The ebay seller markets it on various platforms including ebay and Amazon, and sells it on ebay for $9.52 plus $4.95 shipping. The closest Amazon fulfillment center packs it and ships it, so no coast to coast shipping costs.

Taking it to the next level, the wholesaler has an open order system, so once the 50 are purchased, the ebay seller can buy more at any time, only now just as needed, in quantities as low as 1. So our ebay reseller has sold their 50 mop buckets, has no inventory, but still sells on line. As sales come in, the ebay seller "buys" another mop bucket from the wholesaler, and the ebay reseller notifies Amazon to ship another bucket, all automated, no human intervention.

Ebay reseller: Zero Inventory cost, Zero shipping cost to "obtain" the inventory, no inventory "shrinkage" due to damage, theft, etc., no inventory going "obsolete" etc. Zero cost to run a brick and mortar or warehouse, and they sell their mop bucket at $9.52 which is $2.47 cheaper than Walmart. The purchasers are either too far from Walmart, or do not care to drive to Walmart to buy a mop bucket, or do not know Walmart sells the bucket. Their biggest competition is the person who does the same thing, but will now sell the bucket for $9.46.

Amazon collects a monthly storage fee based on warehouse space consumed and shipping/packing costs.

Sort of like buying from an independent seller on Amazon but 'fulfilled by Amazon' I suppose. Hadn't thought about that in the context of selling from other platforms than Ammy though. Interesting.

Interesting. This user "savoncoin" is selling a bunch of items I've either won or have listed myself.

Some auctions just ended in the last 4h and they have the items up for sale that now belong to me.

    How do I report?

go to each eBay item, down by item specifics to the right is a link that says 'report item', click it and then say why you are reporting item...

I know but I'm not sure under which tab to find the right reason.

If anyone knows the eBay seller's name, e-mail or address, please PM me. Thanks,

    • Ian

I could contact him through ebay. Shall I tell him you're looking for help ?

I am guessing it's not about help.

    More likely cease and desist.
