Yes, the last time I had one it took 3 emails, 3 calls, and over a month before customer service told me that it had been removed from the database because it was reported as stolen. They suggested I return it to the person I bought it from for refund, so I did.

Interesting. I have contacted PCGS to see what is up.

Instead of removing a stolen coin from the data base it would be far more helpful if in large red letters they put:
"REPORTED STOLEN" on the cert page and provided a link telling what agency to contact.
That would at least give us a chance to help law enforcement find thieves and recover stolen coins.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I bought mine on eBay and I think they tried to contact the person who reported it stolen, with no response yet. The person I bought it from called a couple times as well, and even offered to send them the coin to ship to 'owner', but they told them the same thing.
I had a couple in the past, once it involved sending coin to PCGS for re-holder (free) and the other time pics in email was enough to correct and put in database.

That's strange. I wonder why?

It's in a Rattler.
I've come across a few Rattlers that are not in the database.
