Requesting one type of slab vs another?

I have one card that PSA graded and slabbed in one of the holders that is slightly oversize and has the mylar sleeve to hold the card in place. I actually like this holder specifically because this card is thin stock and rattles around the holder alot without it. I never requested it, and many other versions of this same card have been slabbed in normal holders. For instance, this is a pop 2 high value card. The only other graded 10 sold on eBay recently and was in a regular holder. What makes the slabber choose one over the other? Would I be able to request on my submissions that I prefer one card to be in the sleeved holder vs regular one? The base version of the same card that I own returned holdered in a normal slab. I have some other higher end cards that slide around alot in their holders and would possibly like to have them reholdered specifically in the mylar one.
