The service was fast & included the bottom coin which had Variety Attribution added. Great job PCGS Photo!
I can't stop staring at this one. V V V
Originally holdered as 1872-S MM Below FS-301, I discovered it to be MPD FS-302. PCGS agreed! Yay!

I like them all....especially the 1829.
Your beautiful 1856-O is a V-1, if you are interested. It has a cool die crack at the left stem and a "left" date.

Very nice. You know half dimes are too small, right?
I really like the 1829. Is the PCGS photo faithful to what you see in-hand?
Thank you for sharing your research! It's always interesting and appreciated. Learning about this series is quite an undertaking.

Great eye for eye appealing half dimes!
Yes, It looks exactly like that in person! I saw it on eBay and the seller's pics were not bad, but I kind of sensed how it would pop in hand. I already had an 1829 but thought this would be a great upgrade.
I had the same feeling for the 1856-O below it which is another eBay find. I thought it would be dark in hand and it is, but it lights up just like that when you get the right angle on it. I'm guessing maybe PCGS Photo had to work on that one a little to light it up. Like yosclimber said above, it's an interesting coin to boot.
I like toning but I'm a total sucker for blue toning. I can't resist it.
