Amazing lesser known stats
I was checking out this video(sorry Tanner) and it got me thinking about lesser known stat lines that are pretty unbelievable.

With the amount of control Maddux has, I was curious to how many wild pitches Greg Maddux has thrown in his career. What stood out to me is there were 2 years in which he pitched more than 200 innings and had zero wild pitches (1997 and 2006). Taking a look at some of the other pitchers that are highly regarded, only Don Sutton and Tom Glavine(2) have had seasons in which they have thrown zero wild pitches. Going back to the video vs Canseco, it is apparent that he intended on plunking Canseco and even the first pitch was meant to hit him. What are other lesser known stat lines can you think of that are pretty unbelievable?

Walter Jones in his 13 NFL seasons, gave up a grand total of 23 sacks and called for holding nine times crazy!
In 1977 Steve Largent caught 33 passes 10 were TD’s, and had a 19.5 yard per catch average.

In 2017 Joey Gallo only had 94 hits -- 41 of them were home runs.
How many people knew the great Bill Russell had 7,098 more rebounds in his career than he did points.
I wonder how 7,098 rebounds stands against the all time leaders?

Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays started and finished their careers in the same city but for different teams.
Don,
7,098 rebounds would put him just inside the top 100...as it is, his total of 21,620 puts him 2nd to some guy named Chamberlain
Can't remember the exact dates, but over a 162 game span from summer 1985 to summer 1986, Wade Boggs hit over .400
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Jim Palmer won World Series games in three different decades
