Just wanted to share some recent poppage as it's always nice to get something even if it's not exactly the grades you want. The 62 Civil War News are the worst of a complete set I submitted. Asked for no qualifiers so got pretty much what I expected. Gives me hope the others will garner lots of 8's and 9's. The 61 Post just wanted slabbed, They were harsh on the 62 Topps baseball. The Yankeees team card was garbage compared to the rest so not sure how it got a 6. Also miffed on the 72-74 basketball, except for the Gervin. The 65 Mantle had a pinhole so just asked for it to be slabbed authentic. Not sure what happened to the 79 Murray as I just pulled it from a pack recently. The 66's were a mixed lot but was hoping for more 8's. Best hits were the 3 92 Upper Deck Jordan error 10's and the 92 Upper Deck Shaq 10's.

Yeah, there's some decent stuff and some of the others I can move out at a local show so it won't hurt too bad.
I got a 10 in my last sub and sold it for $215. I would probably let one go for $200 pp f&f. I know people are wanting an arm and a leg for them on Ebay. I will probably keep one or two of those and also probably keep a Shaq 10 and sell one.
Nice hit on the Chamberlain, too. How's the Gervin rookie look? I love those Shaq rookies.
I'm not familiar with the Jordan errors at all. How rare are they?

I thought the Gilmore, Gervin, Chamberlain and Jabbar all had legit shots at a 9. I went over them with good light and a 16x loupe. The Frazier had a tiny chunk out of one corner, the rest were razor sharp. Knew I was going to get hit on that. Was hoping for a 7. As far as the Jordan Error goes, there were only 26 of them in 10 about a month ago. I have subbed 5 and gotten back 4 10's and the population is now at 32, I believe. I think there are 3 on Ebay in 10 right now and they are wanting between $300-$550 for them. Realistically, I think it is a $200 card. The Shaq's are much harder than I thought in 10. Subbed some before but only got 8's and 9's. Per the pop report, only about 4% of them come back gem mint. I think there are 275 10's of that one but looks like they are selling for about $300. I'll more than likely keep one and move one, but I don't know yet. What I plan to do with my subs is keep all the higher end stuff and sell off the rest, to pay for grading fees, etc.
I'd love to see the '74's when they get back, if you're going to move them.
I subbed one of those Shaq cards that I literally cannot find anything wrong with and it came back a 7. They're a bear to find in 10. Congrats on getting two of them.

Less than impressed with these grades. I expected much better on the Palica and Garver cards. I wonder what they saw.

Ok, so I got my order and I will scan and post some highlights later. I haven't gotten thru everything but I was looking at my 1966 Topps baseball and they seem to be all over the board grading these. The PSA 9 I got is no way in my mind a 9. Has touches to 2-3 corners. Most of the 7's look better than it does. Couple had either a side or top that was a little rough cut and I'm wondering if they dinged them a little for that. Have to go thru the rest of my stuff when I get off work as I'm really curious about the 62 Topps bb.
Here are some scans of the cards I got back today that I'm going to keep. I got 3 of the PSA 10 Error Jordans and I'm going to keep 2. Keeping one of the 92 Upper Deck Shaq 10's.
Some nice cards there. The '66 Bennett is special.
Arthur, here's a scan of the Gervin. It presents really nicely. It's just that little "chunk" off of the upper left hand corner. If it was as nice as the other corners, I'd have been looking at an 8 or 8.5, imo.

I don't think so. It's just weird, like a tiny chunk is missing, not sure how else to describe it. Here's a scan with the new scanner. At first glance it is gorgeous, centering, registration, etc. Then that corner just grabs ya.
