I'm curious on this too. I still use Turbolister and haven't found any options there for setting one up.

I have found that if I try to use an older listing of mine as a template, the pull down option for multiples does not appear, but if I start with a new blank one, I am able to do it.

Would it be "Create Variations?" I'm guessing here.

On a new blank listing creation page, the left column will have a line item that says "Variations" and to the right of that will be an active link in blue text that says "Create Variations." After following that link, there will be a row near the top that is "Attributes" and you will see a button to "+add"

Hit the +add button, and then among the options, select "card number"

The card number button will then appear in the attributes row. Click card number and you will see a grid of numbers from 1 to 7,500. You should be able to figure it out from here.

Not 100% sure but i think this might be it

    "What's a listing with variations?
Instead of creating a number of separate listings for an item that has multiple options, you can create a single multi-quantity fixed price listing that includes all the variations you offer. For example, a t-shirt might come in multiple colors and sizes. Buyers can select which variation they want to purchase from the single listing."

I've tried that but baseball cards is not an allowed category per the list shown. Maybe the person changed the category after setting up the listing?

Many years back, I had some listings where the buyer could pick "any 10" (for example) from a list of cards. Ebay ended the items saying that "choice" auctions are not allowed, I believe because it does open up the window for confusion. It is my belief that eBay is missing out (or does not understand) the card market enough to allow buyers and sellers an easy option for set builders.

I've never listed this type of auction. I got that link & response after googling "How to sell multiple different items in one ebay listing"

Baseball cards are an allowed category if you follow what I posted above. It works when I try it with a new listing without trouble.

so I got the listing but it only shows the card # and not the player name, I listed the player name in the "sku" field for lack of another option, obviously that is wrong.

Under the +add option, you will have a check box for Add Your Own Attribute. After you do that, you can use "+Create Your Own" under the attributes menu, and then you can add a combination of number and name if you like.
