Best Pricing?

Hi guys!

I decided I wanted to start getting some of my old trading cards graded after watching people on YouTube open up packages of their returned cards. However, I was kind of surprised by the pricing. I have 8 cards I want to get graded and that comes to a total of $215. I figure there is no way these YouTubers are really paying this much each time they submit their cards. They often do 20 cards or so at a time.

So I figured there must be some secret to the memberships that I am missing. Are there hidden benefits to having the membership other than the 6 or 15 submissions? Because the platinum package would come to $304 and the silver package would come to $204. To submit just the 6 cards without the gold membership would be $175, so it seems like the membership doesn't end up saving you money in the end unless there are other benefits.

Anyway, if someone explains the best way to get started getting my cards graded for the best prices, I'd be super thankful!

Thank you in advance, guys!

    Welcome!
Others are much more knowledgeable than I am...but signing up for a membership and then using bulk rates or monthly specials is a pretty typical path.

Sometimes people pool cards together for a group submission to reduce per-card grading cost.

Others will no doubt chime in.

    Again, welcome!

As Chris said, you can check on here for people pooling for bulk, to get the better price. Keep in mind, the value on your cards must be under $100 for the bulk submissions. If that is the case then you are only paying $7 or $8 per card depending on the size of the sub. I for one, have sent in a few bulk subs lately and am currently sitting at maybe 65 cards towards another 100 card. I would be happy to include yours the next time I send them in, if you like. You can message me for my contact info. You don't have to pay anything up front as we don't get charged until the grades pop.
