PayPal Question - The Burden of Two Accounts

Hello Fellow Collectors,
I have had one PayPal account linked to my yahoo email for many years. Recently, a reputable car dealership sent me a refund via PayPal to my gmail account. The original transaction was made via Visa Card using PayPal (the amount was on my credit card statement). When I went to retrieve funds, it asks me to create a PayPal account for the gmail email. I do not want to have two PayPal accounts. I thought I ask you guys in case I am missing some of my options as far as getting to those funds.
Thank you in advance for reading and offering assistance.

So, I added the second email and received the funds. The problem now is that fees were deducted from the total. Can I reverse the process and ask the car dealership to send me a check instead? Or will there be more fees in sending the money back?

I would send a copy of the Paypal fees from the transaction to the dealership. Have them send just that amount and check the option that they pay the fees, not you.
I see, maybe they forgot to check the option of absorbing the fees. I know they just wanted to be quick with the refund, but I would have been more than happy to wait for a check. I emailed them just now explaining what happened to see how they want to remedy this.

Yes, you can refund the payment and it won't cost anybody any fees. You go into the transaction and there's an option in there to refund the payment.
