Help with grading

I am trying to decide on getting some of these common cards graded. I am hopeful most would be an 8 or higher. I feel like some could be 9s or 10s but I am very new at this and would love some feedback. Thanks.

    I also have some HOFers I will likely get graded. I would curious what everyone thinks these will grade as well.

    Without seeing the backs,

    8.5
    8.5 to 9 (unless the spot within the border above the "i" in his last name is more of a stain than it looks here)
    8

    8 (OC)

    6 (lower left corner looks like it took a hit)
    5
    4.5 (unless upper left corner is a crease/wrinkle and not some kind of surface print line)
    7.5
    Maybe 7.5 vs. maybe 5; Inconclusive since can't tell what's going on in the lower left (based on your scan orientation) corner

    6
    6 (PD) or maybe 5 NQ

    There is a 1959 thread on the first page of the PSA Registry Forum. The OP there, Mariner ( Don) has been posting 9s and 10s in droves in it. If I wanted an opinion on some 59s I would post them there and ask. In addition to knowing his 59s, Don is one of the most affable people I know in the hobby
