Wax on front of card

After searching forum the general consensus is pantyhose or used unscented dryer sheets to remove wax from front of card. Are they still the preferred way to get wax off or has someone discovered something better?
Thanks

I'd go with the pantyhose method. Works wonders. Good luck.

Pantyhose definitely.
I never had a problem using a soft paper towel.
Pantyhose works wonderfully.

Pantyhose, but your wife will hate you for stealing them.
The little cloths for cleaning eyeglasses work well for me. I have some for cleaning my scanner bed glass anyway, but don't mix them up if you do this or you might end up wiping wax into your glass
Cheesecloth removes wax much easier and will require no explanation if wife or kids should happen to catch you rubbing one out.
Especially if she's in them.
I use an old sock turned inside-out. The rough cotton inside athletic socks works perfectly. Just be careful not to dig too hard and gouge the surface.
Unless she's into that...not judging anyone.
Yeah, can't use my socks turned inside out
