    Do these apply to numismatics? From what I've seen they tend to apply to overstocked junk style ebay schlock.

    Yes! Every coin I've browsed so far shows the 10% ebay bucks that would be earned. This offer appears to be in the app only, 8% onsite. Two days only

    I got a 10 percent e bucks offer too, for app- 8 percent on website, numismatics do apply, but not in the bullion category. going to use wife's smart phone to get the 10 percent

    I got 8 in app, 6 on PC.

    I didn't get the last deal, but I got the 10% in app and 8% desktop with a minimum $50.00 purchase. Timing couldn't be more perfect as my tax refund is due to be deposited tonight in my account. :)

    Just tried calling ebay to ask about them. I don't know what country this guy was from but his answers are as clear as mud. Anyone know how you might get on this 10% coupon list or what ever %

    If you are in the app, go to settings, notifications, general notifications. I have all 3 options there checked but I think the two that matter are special deals and events and offers. At least I think that is what enables it...

    Hmmmm, just thinking out loud as I get them all the time and I buy some but sell quite a bit.

    Maybe, ebay figures that if you sell something, the cash may be sitting there in your PayPal account, and if they incite you, you spend it, added to their monthly sales figure.

    I have 4 accounts, and never get offers on my main buying and selling accounts. I guess they figure I do enough business with them that they don't need to give me promos. I used to get offers on the 2 seldom used accounts, and now it is just down to offers on one of those accounts. I have no idea how they decide what accounts get offers.

    I have 2 eBay accounts. One got 8% app/6% web with a $25 minimum. The other got 10% app/8% web with a $50 minimum.

    All comments reflect the opinion of the author, evn when irrefutably accurate.

    Of the three most recent eBay promotions I've seen, one excluded ALL items in Coins and Paper Money.

    The other two, like most eBay promotions, excluded Bullion within Coins and Paper Money, i.e. numismatic coins qualified for the discount.

    I used the offer to buy a coin I've been watching a while. I offered about 8% less than the buy it now price, and the seller accepted then the ebay bucks 8% kicked in and I use a card that gives me 3% on online purchases. I will still probably be buried in the coin, but not as bad as I would have without a little bit of discounting.
