Who can you trust

Would like to get into this hobby and put together a 1962 Baseball set. But how do you know who you can trust?

You can trust many, many reputable auction houses, eBay sellers, and private sellers via boards like this and Net54.

Graded stars choose psa or SGC, I wouldn't worry too much about commons, though 62s are notorious for recoloring. I'd invest in a Blacklight.

About 8 cards shy of finishing my 62 Topps basic set. It's a lot of fun with many variations. Nice challenge with the master set, for sure. Lots of product out there really depends on the grade you are looking for and if you are going raw or slabbed. Good luck and have fun with it!

You're getting into the hobby with a Cadillac, IE the Topps baseball 1962 set...truly a great set.

The 1962 Topps baseball set is my all time favorite, with a few other sets such as the 1952 Topps baseball right up there.

Don't forget the "stamps" from that set, they are fun to collect as well. Choose the "full panels" for best collecting value versus the stamps which have been detached and/or pasted into the little stamp collectors book.

    Good luck!
