So, I'm going through a small part of my collection and to be honest I am trying to downsize and get some money back, Been collecting since I was 8; over the last 30 years I can't even imagine what I spent. I just have to much. So I just found some relatively high grade {but you be the judge} 48/49's, Early 50's through Early 60's; that I bought back in the day, but paid retail for, raw. I am not really concerned about them being altered although I guess there is a small possibility a small % could be. I'm talking about the commons not the stars. I'll grade the stars. Appreciate any and all opinions.

The way I see it:

1) Do I grade them? Probably 15-25k cards, maybe more Downside: $ huge expense and time and PSA is tough currently;
2) Do I put them on ebay raw? At buy it now pricing with best offer; Downside: lots of time, no guarantee's I sell, possibilities of return
3) Do I give them to Greg Morris or PWCC; Downside: less time but less money most likely after fee's, but much faster turnaround
4) Do I put them on BST here and various boards. Downside: Lots of time, but little to no fee's

I attached a few sample pictures; I just took the first few cards from the box I didn't look for the best ones, yet

I have to much S**t; so if you working on sets or are a player/team collector, send me your want list, with conditions desired. Keep in mind I have a another job so please allow me a few days to respond.

    Start with BST here. I don't see them grading higher than 6/7 and grading would be a losing proposition, unless some were stars or low pops

    These cards are not in high enough grade. Greg Morris might be your best bet. In this condition, it will be difficult and time consuming to move a high volume of these cards by selling individually.

    Another vote for not grading any.

    +1

    I'd contact either Greg Morris or Just Collect, as opposed to taking all the time and expense of trying to sell them myself.

  • put them on Wheatland auctions. They go crazy for this stuff and sell this stuff all the time.

    Collecting RC's (mostly 40-60's)
