Anyone recently bust a 1974 vending box/wax box or whatnot? I need your "leftovers" to get a set

What exactly I mean by that is I already have the top 20-25 or so 1974's in PSA 7 so I don't want to, for example, get a set and be forced to pay extra for the top cards in that set that I already own. So for those you got some "leftover" 1974's from a vending box or wax/rack box bust or something (as they would be pack fresh and more likely to be at least NRMT or better) I'd love to be able to get them, or if someone out there has a near set of 1974's in NRMT or better that'd be awesome.

PS: I also managed a few years ago to also get most of the key 1973's (except for the Schmidt of course) but I should probably get the 1974 (and the last few of my 1975) done first right?

It's just an example like vending box, wax/rack pack breaks where people here try to get the key cards (especially in high PSA grade)...well I need a near set of the cards except the top 20-25 or so and I figured that might be one good source for it.

I just contacted Jenny and she has more than 10 unopened wax cases, but no vending. I just picked one up for the fun of it for $1,000. She felt bad that she has only unopened wax but no vending.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

I remember Felicia (IJustLoveCards on CU I believe) had purchased a full or nearly full case from Steve years ago.

Many years ago I busted open a 1974 vending box, a 1975, and 1976 all within a few months. Lots of fun to bust them and cards are usually very crisp. Issue with those years is centering. Pull a Nolan Ryan - sweet! 80/20 centering not so sweet. I don’t think I hit Brett or Yount out of the 1975 box either, but lots of great cards and player. Wish I could do it again.

BTW Tim I am about ready to start buying unopened again so lock your stuff up!

Indeed like you said the cards are usually very crisp...all the more reason I'd be interested in them.
