I never understood the reasoning or the dynamics that drove the Cleveland-Boston trade, but the Cavaliers have now shed themselves of Isaiah Thomas. It will be interesting to see what happens now.

Good for Cleveland to shake things up. I wonder if Isaiah Thomas will continue to be traded from team to team, or if he will find a long term home. If I recall correctly he has played for Sacramento, Boston and Cleveland so far. Next up the Lakers.
and Phoenix

beautiful trade by the Lake Show. the irony is that it will facilitate the acquisition of King James. a return to prominence is near for the purple & gold.
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
given all that has taken place since Christmas I think it is worthwhile to wait and see what happens, how Cleveland plays and how whatever Team that Thomas ends up with will play. the Cavs were playing quite well in November and early December until they tried to get injured players back into games, this is the fallout from all of that. I am not a fair-weather fan, I tend to watch when I can and tune in towards the end of the season whenever they play. lately, it has been too agonizing to watch.
since Christmas, the Cavs have been perhaps the worst Team in the NBA, not even close to playing together or being able to run the court.
I'm from Boston, and it's hard for me to remember someone who went more quickly from one of my favorite players to someone I didn't like than Isaiah Thomas.
He was money when he was here. But then he wants his welcome back to coincide with Pierce's jersey retirement, which is just ridiculous. I think he truly believed he was part of the pantheon of Celtics greats, when frankly even someone like Antoine Walker was more influential to the franchise.
The he starts playing for the Cavs and calling everyone out, like he's some sort of "leader who's been there." Dude, you've never won anything. Stop talking and start to produce. Once you start to produce, maybe. But he's telling guys with rings what's wrong with the the team - good grief.
He better be careful or he'll be out of the league or riding the bench on a min contract in two years. Watch. Those hips don't get better.
on a sidenote, its gonna be pretty cool for the Nance family having Larry Sr & Jr both having played for the Cavs once Larry Nance jr gets there. I don't think that has happened to often in nba history

So Thomas and Ball are both point guards -- huh?
Erik
Larry Nance was extremely popular with fans and a pretty good player.
Thomas will set Ball straight in L.A. Also Ball's Dad if he isn't on the same page as Isaiah. BTW if the Lakers truly want in the LeBron sweepstakes they better send Thomas packing one more time.

Yup,he was the first thing i thought of on seeing him get sent to the Cavs today. Maybe Junior busts out the old man's Cavs jersey for this years Slam dunk contest.

Who was it on the Cavs that Jordan used to light up for 40-50 points.......those were the good ole days.
