Would have really been cool if it had been postmarked with a Lou Gehrig stamp and then Lou signed it.
Huh?
It's a joke.
In the US, someone has to be deceased to get on a postage stamp, so if "Lou Gehrig" signed it afterwards with a Lou Gehrig postage stamp on there, it certainly couldn't be the real Lou Gehrig.
Lots of fake sports memorabilia around out there as we all well know. However this cool item isn't one of them.

That is one sweet piece of memorabilia. Wow!
Who knows what the hammer could bring on that one...especially if two rich guys named "John" are bidding for it.
Thanks guys...seller wants 3k for it
Not sure what you want to do with it, but I would think it is a solid investment even with the "John".
