1816/5 Mexico 8 Reales Overdate

I should probably just consolidate my Mexico 8 Reales varieties in one thread instead of making separate posts. Here's another inexpensive one from eBay tonight - an 1816/5 over-date. The remains of 5 are clearly visible in this nice VF example. It's a well-documented variety, but still a scarce one to track down. My second one in the last 4 years with only 4 certified across both PCGS and NGC.

Nice one. I think there are 3 different versions of this variety. Must have had a bunch of extra from 1815, or been short in 1816.

My ZS AG came back VF 30

A lot of "meat" on that coin for a 30 (especially on the reverse) even with a softer strike. When it comes to grading these crude issues our hosts can be pretty tough.
