Ebay wants me to update TurboLister

If you are a seller on ebay you know that ebay tried to kill Turbolister and force everyone to use their Seller Hub. I guess a lot of users like me protested and ebay relented and kept Turbolister up for luddites such as myself (side note - one of my selling accounts was forced update to Seller Hub and it is, IMO, unnecessarily complicated).

I got an email today telling me that my Turbolister needs to be updated for security reasons. Has anyone did this update yet and did it effect your Turbolister? I don't trust ebay on this one so I don't want to do anything unless I know it won't kill TL.

    Got this today.

    Dear xxxxxxxxx,
We’re writing to let you know that the version of Turbo Lister you’re using is not HTTPS compliant.

I got the same notice, but haven't updated either. Interested in hearing from someone who has also.

There were a couple issues that older versions of Turbo Lister had dealing with the new https: link requirement. The primary issue was the Turbo Lister ads automatically tagged to all listings were in the old http: format. So even if you had everything in the new https: format the Turbo Lister ads would cause your items to be flagged and your description would be blocked and only visible if you clicked on the description link button. After uploading the non-compliant listings you would then need to edit the listings either individually or in bulk to change all the http: to https: The latest version has removed the Turbo Lister ads and corrected some other issues. In the Ebay message click through to the discussion board. The Ebay person on the board provides a direct link to download the latest version. Any issues can be resolved there.

I did the update yesterday. It was no big deal. Frankly, I'm glad to have a link for the thing again as I had been unable to reload it. It went off without a hitch. I backed up the database as they suggested, but it reloaded the data on its own without my needing to do anything.
