Ways To Remove Brown Spots From Posters?

I am looking for any ways to treat a poster that has brown spots on it, whether it is from humidity, mildew, mold, etc. I have the poster below and it has been hung for years, and I was wondering if there was a way to treat the brown spots.

    Hiya Evan

It looks like - if mold - that it damaged the gloss?

I would guess that there's still mold spores on the paper?

Someone posted on that years ago.

Best I remember? Place the items in the sun to kill the mold and spores.

Then they used antimicrobial baby wipes to clean the mold off of the paper.

Don't remember if there was a demonstration? I'd want to test it out - first - on something I don't care about.

Poster restoration places can do it.
This place; http://www.atstudioc.com is a favorite for high end poster and autographed poster collectors.
