The 2018 Baseball Hall of Fame class was announced Wednesday, with Chipper Jones, Jim Thome, Vladimir Guerrero and Trevor Hoffman taking their places in Cooperstown, New York.

Personally, I was a little surprised Jim Thome made it 1st ballot. I would have expected 2nd round like Vladimir Guerrero. I guess his record 13 walkoffs helped a lot. So now I have to either wait a couple of weeks to get his 1991 Bowman PSA 10 for $40 or pay $80 now?

Just wait a few months, then get the Thome rookie card. It will settle in price.

Really? 612 home runs with no steroid accusations and .956 OPS, .402 OBP, 22 years played, First ballot all the way :-)
