Ernie Banks Red Armour Coin. Grade?

Found this earlier but did not buy for $10. It is a cool piece however there is some discoloration on the right side of the coin. Does anyone know what it might be? I was thinking maybe some sort of heat damage? I have never come across one of these coins so I have no idea. Thoughts on this? I assume the discoloration would make grading it not worth it?
