So, 2018, I am working more on quality versus quantity.
I am trying to count all the coins I have, even the junky stuff, and also weigh them all.
At the end of 2018, there will be 10% less, so that means anything I buy must cause an offset in more selling. I am also purging 1 "type" and right now, the poor, why do I have it, have not changed out a single coin since 1971, V nick set is shaking in it's boots.
I thing I will be happier will less "stuff" to sort and move about, store, and relook at.
Currently in a slump myself.
It's funny that when I've read about people slowing down, in the past, I thought that will never happen to me. And here we are.

sparky and Kat, I have never been unable to find something I like and such is the case right now. there's stuff that interests me but most has to be bought via an image so I have hesitated. I also have a set I have been working on for about a year and a half that has me stopped with two coins I can absolutely not find. I have tried the BST to no avail, found a few examples that have minor problems, a few in off-brand holders and even one priced 2-3 grade levels ahead of the insert: that coin has been sitting in the inventory of a member dealer for about five months now.
on the bright side, there is a medal I may win on eBay today unless the snipers get a little crazy.

why is the conclusion "wrong"?
because the coins aren't selling(to anyone).
There is medication to help you.
Come on Keets you always have a lot to offer. Get out of your slump and start a set. How about doing a set of State commemoratives.
