Copyrighted 1885, Printed by Dunlap & Clarke in Philadelphia, this is the "revised by the author" 1886 edition. With the original design, gilt-embossed cover graphics of the 1849 $20 Gold Double Eagle.

There is a single copy of the Copyrighted 1889 Edition on ebay, (no 1886 or 1885,) listed at $89.00. This 1886 edition is much more difficult to obtain. Numerous later editions were printed, and are easy to find, but they all have different binding and no Gold Double Eagle on the cover graphic.

SOLD

$125.00 Including Insured Priority Mail Shipping, (Why sit around waiting for that, "molasses in January," delivery they call, "Media Mail"?)

At pgs 14 and 15, a pamphlet or thick card was left in the book, now long ago, leaving a slightly darker area surrounding the area once in contact with the pamphlet, (the border area of these 2 pages.) None of the text is covered by it, only the borders. On those 2 pages, (pgs14 and 15,) there are also several small holes. None of them interfere with the text.
