OT: So this is what I woke up to this morning

Kind of nerve-racking if you know what I mean. Back to the Wood Shop

Everything is alright here, I guess the message was sent by mistake or something.

Here was another alert, see the time difference over 30 minutes. I know some families were huddled in their closet. You just never know what could happen at any time.

Good lord, that certainly puts everything in perspective! Glad is was a false alarm, but seriously!

I believe something similar happened about 1971. There would be tests of the nuclear attack warning system. After the test the announcer would say " If this were an actual attack you would be directed to some special station (or frequency) for instructions. Well, one day the alert went out to all stations to instruct everyone to go to the special station because it was for real, not a test. Not one station did as they all figured it was a mistake (which it was). I guess a false alarm is better than no warning when the real thing comes.

I received an alert on my phone about that happening earlier. Talk about striking the fear of god into someone. Glad you are safe!

Reminds one of the "Duck and Cover" days. Glad it turned out okay for all Hawaiians.
