Nobody better in sports broadcasting.....ever! Saturday afternoons in the '60s and '70s from Lincoln or Norman or South Bend or Columbus or wherever were simply magical when Keith Jackson was at the mic.
RIP Mr. Jackson.
RIP to a true giant of broadcasting. Whoa, Nelly!

Here's a great story on the early days of Keith Jackson from Washington State University and the station I work at KOMO TV in Seattle. What a career he had.

Liked his calls. IIRC he did some Indy 500 races and Wide World of Sports Demolition Derby contests.
BEST FOOTBALL SPORTSCASTER IN HISTORY. He came back out of retirement to call the 100th meeting between OSU and Michigan in 2003. A promise he made to Woody Hayes.
IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED
