    I've seen this effect before. Usually something "attacked" the copper. Keep it as a curiosity or better yet put it on Ebay. Someone will want it.

    What wound you ask for it on ebay? I have no ideal. I have to open an ebay account. Need to have coins I would like to sale.

    I would not waste my time. Start the auction at 10c and let the people who think it is something special fight for it!
