I can't say if that is it, but Fleer put out a 132 card set of minis in 86, 87, and 88 I believe.
That appears to be the update set, but there are such a thing as minis with photos that are different than the regular issue.
Which validates your point... know what you're selling...
I'd definitely say the weirdest wtf moment on ebay was when i found a broken piece of plastic autographed by Tom Brady. The seller said he had a chance to get Tom's auto and that plastic was the only thing around to have him sign.

Love how that seller provides "proof" pics of handwriting, which includes clear evidence to the contrary - capital I with crosses vs no crosses, different capital R, all caps writing vs mixed case...
