Submitting Stickers/Stamps -- Tips?

I am going to be submitting some 1972 Sunoco stamps (the Archie Manning should be a 10, but 9 at the worst) and wondered how people submit stickers/stamps, due to their flimsiness, etc...it is hard enough to separate the stamp from the sheet and avoid creating any sort of light wrinkle, without then having to worry about getting the flimsy stamp into the Card Saver, and then worrying about when the grader pulls the stamp out of the Card Saver. It seems it almost needs some sort of "backing" before sliding into the Card Saver...if anyone has any good ideas, I'd be all ears...

I'd recommend putting the stickers or stamps in a penny sleeve then leave a post it note on the Card Saver asking for the grader to pull the penny sleeve out from the CS first then pull your item. I've worried about this happening too when its so easy to leave a thumb crease when removing a sticker from the CS.

amen to that...we treat our cards/stickers/stamps like children -- we don't want anything to happen to them...I have actually used the method you suggested, in the past...just didn't put a note on the Card Saver, but maybe I will add that....thx
I haven't graded any of these myself yet, however still trying to get the hang of seperating them consistently. Do you have any tips for doing that you can share?
I do really like this set, I have 23/24 Dallas Cowboys from the base set and 2/4 of the update Cowboys all graded. Just need Duane Thomas to complete the base set. If you grade one of those, PM me if you plan to sell it.
Glad to see these get some love on here.

I just fold at the creases and run the crease between 2 of my fingers and then fold it the other way and do the same thing...I usually can then just wiggle the two sides and the crease starts to come undone on it's own...if not, I pull it apart very slowly keep the stamps in between my 2 fingers, with the fingers as close to the crease/perforation as possible, so that I don't get extra paper left behind...those little flecks of extra paper are really hard to remove from the perforations (I probably need to invest in a tweezer for such cases)...I will keep an eye our for Thomas
Thanks, appreciate it.

Was able to separate a Staubach and like the results, as shown in attached image...recently opened 40 booklets and got 2 Staubachs...the other is probably just an 8...
