OPC Experts; Is This Card Legit?

I recently won this card on eBay & am now curious if it's real (never have seen anything like it before). In researching some on line, I did see a 9 card panel (with no stars); interesting that the front is a Topps card with no OPC designations, but the back is part of a OPC promo...
Any thoughts would be appreciated....Thanks

Thanks! Amazing that over all this time, this is the first I've heard of this!

They did those for many years in the 80s. I've got '88 and '89 and I almost had '86 before the post office lost it or destroyed it, can't remember which.

if you turn the sheet over
shouldn't the ripken card be in the lower right area showing the "sample" area ?
I would think all the sheets were printed the same
I mean this sheet
Those are two different cards. The Ripken is being scanned with another card (Al Leiter?) simultaneously to show the back as well.

I didn't know that
the original post said, I won THIS card, being just one
I assumed it was scanned twice & laid side by side
BTW, the regular issue 1991 OPC baseball cards had Topps but no OPC designation, just like this sample promo.
Yeah, I just assumed since it seemed logical.

Thanks Arthur, now I have to start looking for the 89 for my Ron Gant collection, can't believe I've never seen that before. It's always fun when a long thought to be completed collection gets a little new life.
