How does PSA grading piggybacking work?

I don’t have a PSA membership but those who are members and can come up with 100 cards in only costs $7 card.

Do members ever get together to do a bulk submission so those who don’t have memberships can piggyback?

Also how do the logistics work on that?

Yes people do it from time to time. Just have to keep an eye on the forum. You would send your cards to the member who is coordinating the sub and they would send to psa all together.

I just dropped off a 100+ sub at the PO 2 days ago, wish I would have known and could have helped you out. This will make the 3rd sub I have sitting at PSA right now but I am planning on subbing 50+ more in the next couple of weeks. Would be happy to add you in If you would like. Even if I don't get to 100, 50+ at $8 is better than $20. Just remember that with the bulk order, value has to be $99 or less per card. I'll update this thread when it gets closer to time.

I can’t stand how they have that setup like I got a few cards that have a shot at an 8 and if they do then they are probably over 99 but if they are 7’s or 6’s then they will be well under that mark. It is such a convoluted rule by PSA. I understand not allowing people to send cards in for $7 that wil grade for $1000’s

Please do add me I got a couple I can send in and maybe I could send you some scans. I am terrible at grading my own cards.

    Please post the scans here.

You'd be fine with those. Two things: that is mostly for insurance purposes, and don't try to send a 52 Mantle (intact, not missing pieces) under $500. I've heard that if you're way out of line they'll assess you a higher fee, and that is not a bad problem to have.

I know I sent in a couple with my CC renewal that could be over $500 and some in my bulk that will be worth over $100 if I get the grades I think I will. That being said, I think I'm probably safer with the bulk submission but I guess I will find out in about 3 months!
