Would these ten numismatic selections rank as the top ten in terms of "impressive" US numismatics? I realize that is quite a loaded term with so many stellar items.

Though the backstory of these items in the article are interesting, I bet every coin/paper money collector could come up with their own list. I personally wouldn't include a general category such as "Silver Certificates," but would include some of my favorite designs, such as the 1901 black eagle $1 or the 1896 educational series $1, $2, and $5 set.
