NFL schedule change.

Would it be a good idea for the NFL to adopt a change where all teams have their "byes" after 8 weeks of play? This, so all teams have a rest period at the the same time. This would follow the All-Star type break like the other 3 major sports. Seems like this might be a fairer schedule where all teams are under an equal schedule of playing time/rest.

    They get 17 weeks as of now for network and
    Satellite TV revenue. They won't give up the extra week. It would also take out some of the strategy of Fantasy Football. :#
