    THE BUMMER:

In between the two rows of racks in the 4th pic from top above, at the bottom of the box, in between the racks, was a.. a... I can't say it.......

    Early Bree Olson ?

  • OddRodzOddRodz Posts: 645 ✭✭✭

Nope..... it was my little buddy:

I just don't know Gents. Just don't know. The greatness of sellers is where it is at. But as far as I'm concerned, it's FASC or nuttin' going forward for anything this era related or prior. I didn't want to buy a multi box leftover consolidated boxed up box. I wanted a real box when buying this.

Wayyyy to much garbage in the unopened world. The only I got going for me is THANK CAHOONIES I haven't been in to 'autographs'. :)

How much was this box? I get it was repacked but you didn't get the total shaft when he put a jordan sticker back one in there. FASC costs more so it comes with that case fresh status.

Just to clarify, are we talking booger......

    ....or booger? ;)

  • tbonewillytbonewilly Posts: 424 ✭✭✭

Yikes!!.That just seems completely wrong. Makes ya wonder what could be lurking in other boxes that have the BBCE wrapping :s

Unless that is of course the special 1/1 "white" peanut, unlike the "pink" or "green" peanuts which are easier to find in most boxes!

It was indeed on the cheap end. They have some of these discounted at the link below. Heck, with the one Jordan showing, and with 168 cards in the set and 144 chances for a Jordan on top, guess it isn't too questionable.

Is that a Reggie Lewis on front rack I see? Are you selling any of these?

    Sorry about your booger.

  • OddRodzOddRodz Posts: 645 ✭✭✭

Yep, there is one with Reggie on top. if seeking any certain player on top or back, let me know and I'll send it over. (keeping the Jordan and Reggie)

These items are delivered to the seller from the Baby Stork.. which is outside of any actual ever factory box inclusion.

    FASC there errr.. nuttin.

RIP OddRodz, you're funny guy and brought some twisted humor to these boards. Nobody can take that away from you.

It was the “Thanks I learned my lesson, I’ll never do it again”, thread that’s been closed by the mods.

I agree with the others that he was definitely a character, but brought humor at times when the board needed it.

Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.

Way too many posters sent to the CU Forum Cemetery. Some just dying to get back and perhaps a few have found the afterlife.

Gotta remember, this is PSA's board that they provide as a courtesy. The rules really just boil down to don't act like a peen. Some people can't help themselves.

When they booted Bob Lemke it was pretty clear that no one was immune.

Fortunately Bob's was temporary and short. His death was a tremendous loss for the hobby.

odd rodz was super generous to me/my son...he sent the 1979 cards from his wax tray rip to my son free of charge. my 7 yr old son loved getting a package in the mail and loved receiving "old fashioned cards". he sorted them and looked at them all night...i think he probably wouldve fallen asleep with them next to him if it werent for the musty basment smell to them.

    super generous fellow

I was shocked when I came back from my hiatus to learn this. I was even more shocked to learn how little was done to honor him. Bob was a Rushmore person for the hobby. The work he did and the generosity he displayed was staggering.

Appears so. that sucks. He certainly had some odd threads, but they were benign IMO. PSA mod needs a little thicker skin. Give him a probationary period, or a technical foul, or a yellow card, then let him back on.

They also need to recognize when a dumb question is asked a dumb answers is deserved. I'm not talking about newbie questions I'm talking about trolling which that question was. There is a difference. We as a group have pretty solid BS detectors.

I don't think the response to the OP was the problem. It was the relentless piling on and piling on and piling on with no end in sight. I've always said not to argue with an idiot. Sometimes if you can't help yourself you can let an idiot know he is an idiot and let it go at that.

I think it was posting the Dan The Animal Steele or Danimal pic.

If my memory serves me I believe that was a creation by the legendary Maurice.

    What a classic!

That sucks. The loss of guys who have been banned has really brought down the quality of this board.

I agree we have lost some good members and it would be nice to get some of them back. However, the Mods have been pretty clear with what they will not tolerate. If we leave the personal attacks out of our posts we'll all be better off.

    Hiya Kevin

We're friends and I like ya buddy.

    I'm gonna disagree.

[edit: this isn't directed at any one individual]

When someone asks a dumb question which "appears to be trolling?"

The best thing we can do?

    Ignore

Let's face it - we have few individuals here who like to "yank chains" and just get a "rise" out of the viewership.

I - personally - refuse to take the bate and respond.

edit: I gave this some thought and want to say:

    "there's a thin line between banter(ing) and badger(ing)"
