1936 crack die? Dime

Is this a crack die or something else. The lines are on the top of the coin.(not a scratch)

Scratch damage. Die cracks are raised on a coin and not shiny!

I'm noticing that the lines form the outline that matches the outline of the wing :D
The reverse has crack lines at bottom

Jimmy, are you an artist? The reason I ask is because artist's generally have an "eye-for-detail"

In my opinion, the lines DO NOT match the outline of the wing. Look again, do you see what I'm saying?

Next. I should never tell anyone to do this but since your coin is already ruined, we all can learn from it! I want you to take a sharp nail and run it along the word "dime" right next to and under the silver colored scratch already on the coin. Then look at the mark you made and compare it to the mark already on the coin using magnification. :)

Look like scratches to me. I have caused them myself. The exposed bright metal revealed in contrast to the aged surface is obvious. Peace Roy
