Very beautiful coins! Lovely blue toning!
i always liked the canadian series. love the older currency as well
I really like the toning on the 50 Cent and Dollar coins.
The half-dollar and dollar are killer!

Congrats... You did very well. Wonderful looking set. Now for the tough question... Did this set come in more than one type of box?
Anyone?
I thought there was a presentation type case as well...

This is the only type box I've seen on eBay. Charlton shows another elongated case. I guess this case is very rare, my 2006 Charlton has the price for Empty case at $275 compared to $75 for an empty case like mine.

Funny, I like the toning on the silver, but I really like the cent and nickel and their hammered strikes.
Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.
A beautiful set!
Wow, very, very extremely fine set!! , someone hand me a kleenex please, better 2)
Years ago I had a 1908 set in the purpel box. (not matte)
picked it up at a local Vancouver Island auction in the boonies. Eventually had it graded by ICCS. It came back as SP65 straight through. ( I think with grade slip, it would make 66) But I started to dislike it. Or better said, to dislike my desiscion to have it graded. Because fom there on I lost interest and admiration for it.
It looked fantastic in its "Royal" box. It had lost much of the attractiveness in the ICCS flips.
Eventually sold it about 12 years ago after a tough desicion to release the coins from the ICCS body bags and put the coins back in the box, or sell them as ICCS graded set. Sad to admit , the monetary offers won over common sense.
