This scarce date has a mintage of only 3,000 and is much tougher to find than all of the 1880's dates. It was graded over 30 years ago and I have owned it for most of that time. The coin has great color and lots of prooflike luster, which I could not capture very well in the photos. It has a few ticks and marks but I know it would grade at least a 62 in today's grading standards. Very pretty coin!
