For the hockey crowd - A very significant 1973 OPC Bobby Orr pick up.

Only significant in the fact that this card is very elusive to find with great centering, in high grade, and a dark back. Dark backs do not have the printing line up the right border which the light backs have from vending. Dark backs only came from wax packs up in Canada. Light backs came from vending. There was much more vending than wax from this year. I don't want to overemphasize how long it's taken to find one as nice as this, so let's just say I'm so happy to have landed such an elusive card.

Vending cases, not boxes. They started in 1968. If you're familiar with the 1989 opc vending cases, then the earlier ones were the same. They were not put into individual 500 count boxes. They were just all stuffed into a big case.

Nice!! My favorite Orr card, and I too did not know the vending/wax correlation to the backs. Congrats
