Well Grote............I see your point!

Dez should be on the trading block. All he does is bitch because he doesn't get the ball and then he fumbles when he gets it.

To much negative and not enough positive. Plus we have enough other good receivers. I've had it with him!

He's way overrated at this point..Singlehandedly responsible for two turnovers today. He should stop whining and focus on holding onto the ball.

Stick a fork in 'em their DONE! The O-line looked like crap today. The defense is the only bright spot of this game.

Unbelievable...how do you NOT give him the ball there? Terrible playcalling.

Dez would be better with a different team, he has talent but I’m not sure Dak has much of a good rapport with him.

Dez might help his rapport with Dak if he would catch passes to him instead of tipping the ball to the opponent! ;)

He doesn't create separation anymore in the open field. every reception is a hard fought for him it seems. He is still good at the jump fade route in the end zone, though. I would not classify him as an elite receiver at this point. He also drops too many passes.

Dak's OK......He was running for his life today. The O-line stunk up the field. This loss belongs to Dez and the O-line.

Prescott and the offensive coaching staff are just as responsible as Bryant and the OL. Garrett's not calling the offensive plays but how can he be ok with the amount of times this team passes when the ball is with in the 5 yard line? The defense has gradually improved while the offense has taken major steps backward, especially in the passing game.

Dimeman certainly wasn't this understanding of Romo, pretty much every loss was Romo's fault regardless of what actually happened on the field. Dak has been exposed this year. Hopefully he improves next year because he took a big step backwards this season.

At least he's coming around. When I stated earlier this year that Dez was slowing down and Whitten should retire he tought it outrageous. Might take him longer on Dak. Ive seen nothing so far that suggests that Dak will be a better QB then Romo over the long term. A few games don't make a career

PEOPLE......I NEVER said every loss was Romo's fault. All I have ever said is that he blew big games. And I STILL like Dak better than Romo. I think we have a chance at a SB with Dak that we NEVER had with Romo.

  • grote15grote15 Posts: 29,696 ✭✭✭✭✭

We'll see over the next couple seasons, but thus far I see no indication that Dak is even close to being as good as Romo. Prescott can do well in the right system with talent around him. Romo made things happen and was the reason Dallas was even competitive most of the time.

I never liked Dez from his rookie year. I remember he refused to do the rookie 'hazing' things like carrying others' shoulder pads and stuff. Just do it, rook, next year someone else has to.
