92-94 Highland Mint Topps Rookie Reprints

Did anyone else buy these back in the day? This was the line that was going to be Bronze, Silver and Gold versions of Topps rookies of stars, but they didn't go over too well and Highland Mint and Topps ended their relationship without the full number of copies ever being made. I was in my late teens when these came out and could only afford the Bronze at $50. I have Puckett and Emmitt Smith. I'd love to get the Silver Puckett, but haven't found one yet. Looks like they never made many of the gold ones. Anyone else know more about these and what happened?
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.

Wow, nobody here bought these? I would have thought someone would know something about them. I guess that proves they weren't received too well by the market. LOL!
