Shilling?
So four years ago I sold a very unique item for about $500 to eBay buyer abcdefg. The item has reappeared on eBay with a consignment house. The high bidder is b***f (2132). I found the original buyer's eBay account and his current feedback just happens to be 2132. I would like to have the item back, but don't want to bid against the original buyer if he's shilling. I contacted the consignment house and told them I was suspicious and asked them to cancel the bids if the consignor was bidding on his own item. They responded "he's not".
Here's his 30-day bid summary:
30-Day Summary
Total bids: 20
Items bid on: 11
Bid activity (%) with this seller: 90%
Bid retractions: 0
Bid retractions (6 months): 1

It has been four years or so but I outed a situation like this on the boards where I knew for fact the consignor was bidding on their cards. I got a warning from the moderator and I said it isn't slander because it is true. The next day the person did indeed admit in the thread that they had placed the bids.
I would put this in the wayyyyy too coincidental category.
I didn't know anyone else from the US who knew who Anvil was. Met those guys at a showing of their documentary at Film Fest here a while back. Lips seems like a nice guy.
!!!!
Lips is. Absolute zero 'bad' in him. All positive, just a little different. In a very cool way.
Unlikely but possible he sold at some point and now wants it back too
