Must-See vintage Dansco Mexican Peso collection SOLD
Untouched since the late 1980s. Many high grade pieces, some developing gorgeous tone. This collector had an eye for quality, this is some really nice material.
17 of the Type III (KM#455) pesos (1920-1945), many BU
plus nice circulated examples of the 1947, 1948, 1950, and 1957
11 of the Type VII (KM#459) 1957-1967 most in high grade BU, '57, 61, 67 all developing rainbow rim toning, '64 semi-prooflike
13 of Type VIII (KM#460) 1970-1983, all in high grade BU, some toning beautifully, open 8 '81 & '82 (probably other varieties I can't discern)
1984-1987 KM#496, all BU
All in the Dansco No. 7226, Mexican One Peso, in generally beautiful condition (I'd grade it AU with some pen marks for the later dates).
Bonus Type 1 and Type II (KM 453 caballito & 454) empty Dansco page.
