FS: 1971 Empty Wax Display Boxes
I have six empty 1971 Topps Baseball wax display boxes available. Three are the coin insert version and the other three are the "extra" insert version. Physical condition of the boxes is basically Ex-ExMt. Two of the "extra insert" version boxes have some light pencil markings next to the Boog Powell photo. See pictures below.
These boxes are somewhat difficult to find in any condition. These are far from falling apart. In fact the "punch outs/fold out" portions on several of them are actually intact because they were never set up for display.
Offering them individually, in pairs (one of each version) or in any combination based on the following NET prices including insured shipping.
Coin Insert Variety - (All 3 SOLD)
Extra Insert Variety (no pencil) - (SOLD)
Extra Insert Variety (light pencil "600") - $215
Extra Insert Variety (light pencil "700") - $200
First come, first served on these.
Thanks for looking
Dave

Hi Dave, I would be interested in the Extra Insert version without the writing. Thanks, Mark
Well now I know who won the lot in Lelands . I bought a nice one from them at the National this year (the "extra insert" yellow starburst version) that they let me cherry pick from the original group. It was a difficult decision as while pretty much all of them were equally nice many had slight pencil markings on the lid. I chose one with writing over a slightly lesser one without writing. Your prices are very fair and reasonable as like you said 71 boxes are tough especially in virtually pristine condition as these are. Anyone who needs one of these for a box run should jump at the chance to pick one up from Dave as its doubtful you'll find another elsewhere as nice as these. Congrats on the win, GLWTS
I wish I had the money, because those are stunning. I've always wanted to add a 71 display box to my collection. Thanks for sharing Dave!
Bump to the Top
