What would you do in this situation?
i recently purchased a card on ebay where it looked great in the auction scan but arrived with a huge crease from what looks like someone jamming a slightly larger than standard trading card into a brand new Card Saver 1. I contacted the seller immediately then returned the card and got a full refund but haven't left feedback yet. I don't know if the damage was from after the auction scan was taken which means the seller knew it was damaged and still listed the auction anyways or if it was known before the scan was taken and the seller still auctioned it anyways with no mention of the crease that was not visible from the straight on view from the single auction scan.
My dilemma is the seller just relisted the same exact card a second time with no mention of the damage while using the same photo from the first auction? As far as feedback goes, the seller took care of the problem and made it right so i'm probably going to leave positive for him but I don't want the next potential buyer to get this card thinking it would grade high to find out there is a huge crease only visible in hand. Its only about a $50 card but still.
Any suggestions on what to do in this situation? The seller is a fairly prominent dealer on ebay that i know i'll most likely be purchasing from again in the future.

What was the advertised grade on the card? If it looked nicer and was advertised at a lower grade where creases can be expected, or with no grade at all listed, then you need to ask the seller prior to buying about condition or creases before buying.
If its advertised in a condition that would allow for a crease, I wouldn't do anything. However, it is disturbing that the seller would just re-list again. How hard is it to say "card has crease"? That makes me lean towards the seller not being completely scrupulous.
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.
Ehhhh.... yes and no. While it's certainly not a bad habit to contact the seller, a major crease that isn't visible in the provided scans is the seller's responsibility to disclose. It's a particularly craven, individual that takes the "well you never asked!" approach.
@KbKards there was no advertised condition in the original auction, this seller doesn't describe any of his cards. The crease was huge and had to have happened after the scan was taken in my honest opinion.

See my previous comment, this seller doesn't provide descriptions of condition. My dilemma isn't the card arriving with damage that wasn't pointed out in the original auction,he took care of that with the refund and as far as that goes,I'll leave positive feedback for him.
Its the relisting the same card with no mention at all of the huge crease or at least providing a better scan at least showing the crease.
edit: I'll probably just let it go seeing I would like to keep buying at least graded cards from this seller. Anything i do pretty much points back to me getting blocked by him if i call him out on it. I was just thinking about the next buyer getting a damaged card in the mail.
