Is there a way to see on eBay how many sales(items) you have sold and the total dollar amount YTD?

Yes, there is.

Hover the mouse over My eBay, scroll down and click on "Selling". Then click on "Seller Dashboard" and scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see "Your totals to date" with number of transactions and sales dollars.
