lifting scans and using the term "reprint?"

as a recent and on ongoing mark of identity theft, which has been a 4 month basic nightmare, heres an added dagger of perpetrated and flat out fraud on my signed mantle run...this one in particular bc its a period sig and prob my fav.
not sure of any recourse here, but lifting my scans, making reprints then inserting said jokes into psa look-a-like holders and then having the audacity to use the "?" in the term "reprint?" kinda pisses me off. its all he's selling. he made them and knows they are reprints.
he's done it w pretty much my entire signed mantle run, my jordan and quite a few more prized possessions.
sorry for venting.
pic above but heres just one example:

You could always add some kind of watermark to your scans, maybe just add a small square of paper with your ebay id on it then position it in different spots on the slab with each scan. I've seen this done with Jordan photos for sale on ebay. It probably wouldn't stop the lifting entirely but it might help a little.

i'd have to do a clear or ghost watermark on the scans/cards themselves but thats a great thought moving fwd!
thank you!
Here is an example of what i suggested above:

Yeah, that would infuriate me to no end as well. Sorry this happened to you.
ETA: Nice Mantle!
thanks, reggie!
just wish these scammers would devote their time, energy and resources to legitimate practices.
i did get a good laugh at the barcode on his flip though!!

just a bunch of capital i's
This is total BS! I don't have the high end you have, I did start to add my name on my holders so nobody could add them to the registry. Scan below, I suppose you could add something like this on the card somewhere.

He's not putting reprint on the label he's making for those fake cards so if someone get scammed by one of his buyers they can sue him no problem.
he's sold quite a few and apparently just perusing the registry...bc i havent really shared this one anywhere.
here's my jackson which he sold and made $30. considering he's printing them himself, printing the flips and gluing the holders back, he's prolly only in this thing $4 or so...
hard to dispute this one:
Who steals from the muffin man???
You go take your rolling pin and batter him up.
Just curious, have you messaged him on eBay? It would be interesting to see what he says behind that he was clearly caught red handed and you hold the originals in hand.
no, i was gonna order one first and then screw with him after i have one in hand...
That's just cruel!
Old style sig to boot.
Very frustrating and probably nothing you can do about since it's tough to prove.
Sorry this has happened. As was suggested - some kind of water mark may help.
Did I miss it or did you at least try to contact eBay about this?
no, not yet.
and not sure what i could technically claim anyways.
they arent personally copyrighted or anything. technically topps and bowman could, but i just laugh at the mere thought of reporting to them with the inclination that they'd actually do anything.
im thinking the best way to deal w/ this guy is street justice.
bid one up really high, pay for it via amex, make him actually ship it, then request a return label on the 90th day or something, include some sort of "extra" goody w the return along w an actual printed off version of the real thing.
maybe i'll even get his telephone number in the process and blast his number and email out w the name "mickey mantle" on the quickens loan site.
he'll get 900 million calls/emails and at all hours of the day from every perspective lenders for the next few months and at all times of the day asking "is this mickey mantle?" or something to this effect.
then i can call him myself whenever im bored or waiting on a plane and just have all sorts of fun with him for years.
then break the news about 5 years down the road as to why he's been getting all of these frustrating calls and emails.
I like your style. I like your moves.
